Georgetown Community Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Receives Recertification
6/8/2009
The Georgetown Community Hospital HealthAdvance Cardiac Rehabilitation program has been recertified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). The AACVPR measures an extensive amount of patient data and in order to be certified, the program must prove positive outcome measures. The AACVPR Program Certification is recognized as the standard for quality in the delivery of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
The HealthAdvance Cardiac Rehabilitation program first received certification in 2005. Out of nearly 3,000 cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs in the nation, only approximately 1,400 have been awarded this prestigious honor.
Georgetown Community Hospital is a 75-bed acute care facility with an award-winning history of providing excellence in health care. The hospital has been named a “Solucient 100 Top Hospital” three times in recent years and has been ranked one of the “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” four out of the last five years.
