Asope Elder, MD, FAAP, MHA joins Bluegrass Pediatrics & Internal Medicine and Georgetown Community Hospital

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (January 5, 2026) -- Georgetown Community Hospital is proud to announce the addition of Asope Elder, MD to the team of specialists on its medical staff. Dr. Elder, a skilled pediatrician, adds her skill and knowledge to our community.
Dr. Elder attended medical school at Saint James School of Medicine in Anguilla and residency at University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, KY. He continued his education with a fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
She specializes in prenatal consults for new mothers, ADD/ADHD, newborn care, immunizations, preventative care and well child checks. She also performs preschool and sports physicals, vision and hearing screenings, as well as sick child diagnosis and treatment.
