Central Kentucky Hospitals Announce Bruce Tassin as New Market President and CEO

Georgetown, Kentucky – (December 9, 2025) Lifepoint Health’s Central Kentucky facilities today announced that Bruce Tassin has been named chief executive officer (CEO) of Georgetown Community Hospital and Bluegrass Community Hospital and market president of Clark Regional Medical Center and Bourbon Community Hospital in addition to Georgetown and Bluegrass, effective January 1, 2026. As market president, he will provide regional oversight of all four Central Kentucky hospitals.
“Bruce is a highly respected healthcare veteran, having spent more than thirty years serving in leadership roles for hospitals throughout the country,” said William Haugh, Division President of Lifepoint Health’s Central Division, of which the Central Kentucky hospitals are a part. “As our industry continues to evolve, Bruce’s innovative problem solving, experience leading through organizational change and strong commitment to positive mission-driven outcomes will position our Central Kentucky hospitals for the future.”
Tassin has led hospitals throughout the country, including CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana, CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and CommonSpirit Health / CHI Saint Joseph Health in Lexington, Kentucky as well as several interim leadership roles within Lifepoint.

Tassin earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on various boards including the Kentucky Hospital Association, Kentucky State Chamber and the American Heart Association.
